At Ongaeshi, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and realize their potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our programs are designed to remove barriers to education, uplift communities, and create sustainable pathways toward a better future.
Our core initiative provides direct support to underprivileged and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. We currently sponsor fifty children at Gandanzara Primary School, covering school fees, uniforms, and essential learning materials. By relieving these financial burdens, we enable children to fully engage in their studies without the constant worry about basic needs. This support doesn’t only aid in academic success; it also fosters emotional well-being and confidence, allowing children to embrace learning and envision a brighter future.
In many underserved communities, even the most basic school supplies are out of reach. Ongaeshi ensures that every child we support has access to the necessary tools for learning—stationery, books, and other classroom essentials. By equipping children with these items, we lay the groundwork for effective learning and participation in school activities, ensuring they are not left behind due to lack of resources.
To ensure long-term impact, Ongaeshi invests in training programs that equip teachers, community leaders, and parents with the skills needed to support education and child development. From classroom management techniques to community health workshops, our capacity-building efforts empower individuals to take active roles in fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive environments for children.
Ongaeshi is dedicated to advocating for the right to quality education for every child. We work alongside policymakers, NGOs, and educational institutions to promote policies and practices that support equal access to education. Through awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts, we strive to create a broader understanding of the challenges faced by underprivileged children and drive systemic changes that benefit communities nationwide.
